A community choir concert to benefit the Canal Winchester Relay for Life was held on Friday, June 12th at 8:00 pm at the Oley Speaks Auditorium in the Administration Building (the old middle school) in Canal Winchester.  Selections from a collection of songs (with narration) from Shawnee Press entitled "Sing for the Cure", based on the true stories of cancer survivors and their families, was performed.

Singers from local churches formed the core group of this choir, but singers of all ages in the area were encouraged to join the group as a way of helping this cause.

The concert raised in excess of $700 for the research for the cure for cancer.  A large "Thank You" to all of those involved in making the concert a great success.
